Paint a simple landscape then work on your own project. Elizabeth Barsham demystifies oil painting, the ideal medium for beginners. Learn how to paint a simple landscape then work on your own project. Practice colour mixing, tonal painting and basic colour theory in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Course description

Because oil paint is the easiest of all paints to use, it is an ideal medium for complete beginners. Elizabeth will show you how to paint a simple landscape, then talk you through an original painting of your own, while explaining some of the strange terminology used by artists.
